Weigh In Motion (WIM) systems for automated real-time traffic data
WIM data logger, sensors are installed below road surface and collect reliable and precise data on traffic volume, axle load and total weight, as well as measuring of the speed and dimensions of the vehicles. Installation of all components is quick and easy; no maintenance is needed even in long-term use. System can be integrated into any of the existing ITS solutions. Configurable alarms for different violations can be enabled. Kistler offers a full back-office software solution for managing and evaluating measurements, entering additional information and post-processing for the enforcement purposes.
